2nd Round

1) S. Vainiūnas. A choice of solo piece (5-10 min.) from:

  • Small Insect Suite (Little Insect Suite), Op. 7 

  • Meadows of Homeland (Homeland‘s Meadow), Op. 31

  • Ballad in D minor 

  • Eight Moods, Op. 43

  • Sonata-fantasy;

  • Lament

2) A piece/pieces by C. Debussy or M. Ravel (one or both authors) or cycle. Duration 10-15 min.

3) A piece by F. Chopin, R. Schumann, F. Liszt, J. Brahms or several pieces by one composer. Duration 10-15 min.

Note: The same piece could be performed once during the all rounds of the competition.

NOTES FOR CHAMBER ENSEMBLES:

1) The same piece could be performed once during the all rounds of the competition.
2) The jury of the chamber ensembles has a right to listen only to a part of the piece performed. 

3) It is recommended to include into the program a piece by the composer from country represented.

4) During the registration participants must present scores of the competition program (2 copies of each piece).

5) Works proposed to the First Round program of Piano Quintets can not be included into the program of the Second Round.
