II round of the IV International Jascha Heifetz Competition for the Violinists is over. The prizes were delivered during the gala ceremony.

Winners of the IV International Jascha Heifetz Competition for Violinists 2013: I prize - Mayumi Kanagawa (b. 1994, Japan-USA). The concert with the Lithuanian National Symphonic Orchestra in 2014 II prize - David Petrlik (b. 1995, France). The concert at the Kaunas State Philharmonic Society in 2014 III prize - Ayako Tanabe (b. 1987, Japan) and Alexandr Kotelnikov (b. 1992, Russia) Diplomants: Anite Stroh (b. 1995, Germany) and Rūta Mažolytė (b. 1993, Lithuania) Special prizes: for the best performance of Jascha Heifetz transcription - Christopher Tun Andersen (b. 1991, Norway) for the best performance of a composition by a contemporary Lithuanian composer - Verena Chen (b. 1993, Germany) jury prize - Emma Meinrenken (b. 1999, Canada) for the best accompanist - Indrė Baikštytė (Lithuania) audience prize - David Petrlik (b. 1995, France) EMCY prize - David Petrlik (France)
